Platinum1 Driver Training provide driver training in Worksop and surrounding areas.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ON LEARNERS WHO WISH TO LEARN IN A MANUAL CAR. THIS IS DUE TO CHANGING THE DIRECTION OF THE BUSINESS TO BEING FULL TIME AUTOMATIC BY 30TH NOVEMBER 2024

All lessons last 1.5hrs and commence at the following times

Monday to Friday - 9am, 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm

Saturday - 9am, 11am and 1pm

48 hours notice is required to cancel any lesson. We reserve the right to charge up to the full lesson price for lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice

Shauna Stone

DVSA Approved Driving Instructor

Shauna has over 30 years driving experience from agricultural tractor to articulated lorries, including being an advanced driver with IAM Roadsmart and RoSPA, holding the highest grade with both organisations (see below)

Shauna has been training learner drivers since 2018 in a manual car and really enjoys helping her pupils become safe, confident and competent drivers, giving them the skills and tools to keep them safe drivers for life.

Shauna is calm, patient, understanding and supportive. She aims to make learning fun and enjoyable.

Shauna started her teaching career with a local franchise and has been independent under the name of Platinum1 Driver Training since September 2021.

Shauna is currently teaching in a manual 6 speed Hyundai i30 48V mild hybrid, which is fitted with dual controls and a dash cam. Automatic lessons will be provided in a Honda Jazz 1.3 petrol vehicle, which is also fitted with dual controls and a dash cam.

I also have many miles of experience of driving automatic cars and passed my CBT motorbike test in the summer of 2023. I am enjoying getting to know my motorbike and developing my skills on the bike.
